It sounds like things are going to pick up even more with school, but I know that things will always work out the way that they need to! As a trainer in the visitors center I go on exchanges with the every sister on my shift which is 6 this transfer. So in the evenings I am with the another sister almost every night! :) and then in the visitors center we have a meeting for training every Friday morning! Which are always so amazing! :)
We do have a washer and dryer in our apartment and I think that is a standard in the mission! So such a big blessing! :)
Today we had a goodbye brunch and watched Ephriam's Rescue with all the other sisters and senior couples from the visitors center for the three sisters going home this next week! :) Those are always so fun to
have all of us sisters together!
What a crazy week! But it definitely was a great one!
On Tuesday we were on our way into our apartment at night and we got a call from a Utah number and as we answer it, Kate from the Netherlands was on the other end! She was calling to let us know that she went to the temple to do baptisms for the first time! And that she even took a family name! She sounded so excited and full of joy! I am so grateful that she was able to have that experience and now she has a great purpose to go to the temple to do the work for her family! I am so grateful for the temple and how it helps us have greater purpose here on earth to have an eternal family! Earlier in the afternoon we had a really great meeting with our
mission president, President Townsend, about our missionary purpose and using technology! It is such an amazing thing to have the technology to help other people to come unto Christ that wouldn't be
able to be done otherwise! Like with Kate!
Thursday in the morning we were in the visitors center and a man walked in and looked at the Christus and then asked if there was anything more. We told him yes and began to get to know him; Victor is from Bountiful Utah and lives just a few blocks away from the temple. As we talked with him we realized he had some deep questions
and that the plan of salvation would help him with them. So we began teaching the plan of salvation and when we were done little did we know that 2 hours had passed by! Because of the restored gospel we now have the precious knowledge of the plan of salvation! And it is a blessing to share this knowledge with others every day so they know that everything that happens in this life has a purpose and that they have a great purpose here on earth! :)
In the afternoon on Friday we had the baptism interview for Lesly, who is one of the girls I taught when I was previously in this area! We actually found the family by a member referral my last night in the area with my trainer, Hermana Gonzalez! And her baptism will be this Friday! Following her baptism in the coming weeks their family will be able to enter the temple and be sealed in the temple! It is such a blessing to see them progress as a family! Which is Heavenly Father's plan! And I watch that every day in the visitors center! :)
I know that we can always find great hope as we remember our purpose! And that there are always great miracles to look forward to! :)
I love you all so much!
Sometimes you have BBQ taste tests at dinner! :) Baby Ray's is the fav!
